WILLIAMS ~ Ronald "Bud" Owen Laurence Williams passed away in the Battleford Union Hospital, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the age of 94 years. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen and two grandsons Matthew and Damien. Bud will be sadly missed by his children: Faye Burns of Kelowna, British Columbia, Janice Williams of Red Deer, Alberta, Ted and Judy Williams of Devon, Alberta, Lynn and Greg Ballan of Maidstone, Saskatchewan, and Lori and Bill Cutsforth of Maidstone; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one sister Louise Branning of Sudbury, Ontario as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service was conducted from the Maidstone United Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Ean Kasper officiating. The tributes were read by the Grandchildren. The hymns sung were "The Old Rugged Cross", "How Great Thou Art" and "There'll Be Peace In The Valley" accompanied on the organ by June Franks. The honorary pallbearers were the Legion Members, Kelly Shreenan and Jack Johner. The active pallbearers were Kyle Burns, Derek McEwen, Shayne McEwen, John Williams, Michael Williams, Andrew Cutsforth, Kevin Hallet and Jens Sondergaard. The interment was held in the Maidstone Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. ____________________________________________________
