She was predeceased by her parents: Otto & Hazel (Weller) Emkiet; her husband of 53 years, Lester; three sons: Lester Jr, Raymond and Loran (in infancy); daughter, Marlene Morgan; grandson, David McMillan; sister, Pearl; half-sister, Mary; brothers, Walter and Arthur Emkiet. Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Helen's Life was held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, North Battleford, SK with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiating. Family Shared Memories were read by Mrs. Joyce Salie. The Urn Bearer was grandson, Shawn Wilkie. Interment will take place at a later date at Town of Battleford Cemetery, Battleford, SK.
