WIDMEYER: Dorothy Anne Widmeyer of St. Walburg passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the age of 73. Dorothy Anne Weldon was born to John and Mary Weldon on January 11, 1939 in Cabri, SK.

WIDMEYER: Dorothy Anne Widmeyer of St. Walburg passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the age of 73. Dorothy Anne Weldon was born to John and Mary Weldon on January 11, 1939 in Cabri, SK. Dorothy was raised in the North Battleford area where she learned responsibility and a hard work ethic, this trait followed her the rest of her life. She worked several different jobs but the one she held the longest for 23 years, and loved dearly was her job at the Lakeland Lodge. Dorothy married Wilfred Widmeyer on June 23, 1954 and together they raised five children. Dorothy is survived by: her children, Ken (Cindy) Widmeyer of North Battleford SK, Vonda (Ron) Nasby of St. Walburg, SK, Sherilea (Calvin) Scheidt of Denzil, SK, Shannon (Roger) Zeller of St. Walburg SK, and Shawn (Annette) Widmeyer of Lloydminster, AB; Dorothy loved and enjoyed her 12 grandchildren, Jason, Gregory, Rachel, Melanie, Daron, Devon, Jillian, Caley, Logan, Holly, Carri and Kaitlin; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaleb, Paisley, Ava, Keagan, Claire, Michael, Nathan, Rhiannon, Colson, Grayson, and Avery; her brother, Jim Weldon; her sister, Mary Hanson; and her sister-in-law, Eileen Bredereck. The Funeral Service for Dorothy was conducted from the Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Walburg on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Quinn Adams officiating. The honorary bearers were All of Dorothy's Family and Friends. Ken Widmeyer gave the eulogy and Debbie Jetzke was the organist. Inurnment will take place at a later date. MARSHALL'S FUNERAL HOME LTD. of St. Walburg, Saskatchewan administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS We, the family of Dorothy Widmeyer, would like to take this opportunity to thank Pastor Quinn Adams for the beautiful service; the CWL for the wonderful lunch following the service; all our family and friends who came from near and far to support us; and to Marshall's Funeral Home.
