WICKSTRAND: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Beryl Wickstrand, late of North Battleford, Saskatchewan on November 26, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Marguerite was born on August 25, 1925 at Lashburn, Saskatchewan. Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Beth (Ernie) Cyr: Joel, Laura (Richard), and Chantelle; son Murray (Kathy) Wickstrand: Orry and Amanda; step-grandchildren: Dawn (Brett), Lisa (Mitch), Kathy (Ryan), Karla, and Kayla; sister in law Jeanette Wickstrand; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Richard; her infant son; grandson Wade Wickstrand; parents Frank and Flossie Hurlburt; sister Ruth (Leo); brothers Gordon (Dorothy) and Jack (Isabelle); daughter in law Val Wickstrand; and brother in law Leonard Wickstrand. The memorial service was held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from Zion Lutheran Church, North Battleford, SK with Reverend Sheldon Gattinger officiating. Joel Cyr gave the eulogy. Music ministry was by Edna Soule as organist. The family have requested that donations in Marguerite's memory be made to The Alzheimer's Society. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Willowmoor Cemetery.
