WELSH: In Loving Memory of Lillian Marie Welsh who was born September 5, 1916 at Wakaw, SK and passed away March 18, 2011 at Spiritwood, SK at age 94 years. Lillian is survived by her loving family: Daughters: Adgerine McNutt and Sharon (Jim) Drewlo; Sons: George (Debbie) Welsh and Garry (Ethel) Welsh; Daughter-in-law: Esther Welsh; 17 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren; 3 Nephews; 3 Nieces and Aunty Kay Parenteau. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Welsh; her parents, Joseph and Marie Parenteau; siblings: Ben Parenteau, Minnie Beaner, Joseph Parenteau, Jr, Charlie Parenteau and by one sister who died in infancy; by her son, Harvey Welsh and son-in-law, Merle McNutt. Vigil of Prayer was held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with Jean Pawlus Presider and Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Ramel Macapala Celebrant. Both Services from All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Mayfair, SK. The Cross Bearer was Verena Popowich. Liturgy of The Word was shared by 1st Reading, Deborah Welsh; 2nd Reading, Jesse Welsh; Gospel and Homily, Rev. Fr. Ramel Macapala and Prayers Of The Faithful, Amanda Rutz and Sarah Smith. Music Ministry was Organist, Melissa Welsh, All Saints Parish Choir, Special Music by Lucas Welsh, Jenna Welsh, Tara Welsh & Robert MacKay. The Eulogy was given by Rebecca Cormack, Rob Welsh and Tara Welsh. An Honour Guard was formed by Mayfair All Saints Catholic Women's League. The Honourary Pallbearers were Phillip Parenteau, Lil Shipaleski, Ken Parenteau, Lorraine Beaner, Lawrence Beaner, Mary Scott and "All Those Who Shared In Mom's Life" and Active Pallbearers were Rob Welsh, Morgan Calder, Jim Welsh, Brayden Amson, Mark Welsh, Jonathon LaFave, Clayton Drewlo and Steven MacDonald. Memorials are requested to Idylwild Lodge Auxiliary, c/o Spiritwood Health Complex, Box 69, Spiritwood, SK S0J 2M0. Interment of Cremated Remains will take place at a later date at the City Cemetery, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service.
