WEBER: John Jacob Weber, 88, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 1, 2014. He was born on April 18, 1925 to David and Sadie Weber. John is survived by his friend, Phyllis Ochs; by his nine children: Lilliane Mahe (Jane) - Sylvie (Rick), Carolyn; Diane Kemp - Lanny (Karen): Brooklyn, Sierra; Monica Weber; Mark (Wanda) Weber - Mark Jr. (Ashley), Amanda (Chayse); Rachele (Al) Stewart; Ken (Donna) Weber - Bradley (Megan): Brooke, Caden; Curtis (Lori): Kendall, Parker; Blaine (Jennilee): Presley, Lauren; Alan - Angie: Livia; Jacob; Lloyd (Sandra) - Jesse (Darci); Jeremy; Patty (Andy) Thiell - Chandra (Eric): Carter, Tucker, Ellie; Nate; Geoff (Jamie). Also survived by the mother of his children, Therese Weber; his sister, Marlene Dion; his brother-in-law, Jack Abbott; his sister-in-law, Shirley Godbout. John was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters; two infant children; son-in-law, Alvin Kemp; two grandsons: Darcy Kemp and Serge Mahe; and one great granddaughter, Haylee Thiell. Funeral Service was held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in "The Garden Chapel" - Battlefords Funeral Service, North Battleford, SK with Fr. Gerard Legaspi, Notre Dame Parish, Celebrant. The Eulogy was given by Lilliane Mahe. Liturgy Of The Word was shared by: 1st Reading ~ Caroline Mahe; Psalm ~ Patty Thiell; 2nd Reading ~ Chandra Thiell; Gospel ~ Fr. Gerard Legaspi and Prayers Of The Faithful ~ Megan Weber. The Pallbearers were Lanny Kemp, Brad Weber, Curtis Weber, Blaine Weber, Nate Thiell, Geoff Thiell and Mark Weber Jr. Memorial donations in John's memory may be made to the Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. ____________________________________________________
