TROTCHIE - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence Trotchie, late of Battleford, Saskatchewan on September 25, 2012 at the age of 85 years. He is predeceased by his dad George Trotchie; his mother Anne Ross; stepdad Fred Ross; sister Violet Whiteford; brother-in-law Ervan Whiteford; granddaughter Jodie Trotchie and Lisa Marie Trotchie; longtime friend Betty Custer. Wake will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 also at Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford, with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in Lawrence's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
