Karen is survived by her partner, Lenny Weber; her daughters and their families: Trina (Gordon): Mikayla & Kaden; Chandel (Lyle) Thiemann; her father, Bob Demkiw; her brothers: Don (Susan) Demkiw and Russ (Mina) Demkiw. Karen was predeceased by her mother, Donna Demkiw; her grandmother, Mildred Mick; grandson, Dannon. A Celebration Of Life was held Wed, August 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from St. George's Anglican Church, Battleford, SK with The Reverend Peter Norman, officiating. Shared Memories were given by Don & Russ Demkiw. Music Ministry was Organist ~ Irene Garratt; Soloist ~ Robert MacKay ~ "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and Hymn Selection ~ "Amazing Grace". The Honourary Pallbearers were "Everyone Who Shared A Memory". Memorials are requested to Saskatoon Cancer Centre, 20 Campus Dr, Saskatoon, SK. S4N 4H4. Interment took place at the Town of Battleford Cemetery, Battleford, SK.
