SPENCER ~ Ronald Brian Spencer passed away near Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the age of 31 years. Ron leaves to mourn his parents, Bruce & Carol Spencer; siblings, Ian Spencer, Heather & Michael Bishop, and Retha & Chris Rutherford and family; son, Jett Spencer; step sons, Ty & Will Huard; grandmothers, Marjory Spencer and June Macnab as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ron was predeceased by his grandfathers, Gordon Macnab and James Spencer, and uncle, Roy Spencer. The Memorial Service for Ron was conducted from Hope Hall, Mervin, Saskatchewan on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Canon Donald Skinner officiating. The Eulogy was given by Chris Rutherford. A Poem was written by Keith Mitchell. The Songs "On Eagles' Wings" and "Go Rest High On The Mountain" were sung by Christie Kotzer-Milne and Bernice Edwards, and the Hymns sung were "All Things Bright and Beautiful" and " Beyond The Sunset" accompanied by pianist Bev Meikle. The Honorary Pallbearers were the Firemen. The Active Pallbearers were Jeffrey Macnab, Derek Macnab, Jason Macnab, Lenny Graham, Raymond Brown, Greg Warrington, Eric Heggstrom, and Garrett Knowlton. The Interment was held in the Mervin Cemetery, Mervin, Saskatchewan. The reception was held in Hope Hall following the Interment. In lieu of flowers a Trust Fund was setup for Ron's Sons at the CIBC in Turtleford, Saskatchewan. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
