SCHREIBER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Schreiber, late of Battleford, on April 30, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She was born on April 2, 1926 at Aldina, Saskatchewan.

SCHREIBER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Schreiber, late of Battleford, on April 30, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She was born on April 2, 1926 at Aldina, Saskatchewan. Left to cherish Eva's memory are her sons: Wayne (Sharon) and their daughters Crystal and Bree (Chris): Emma; Darrell and his children Tania: Logan and Kaden, Candida: Cory, Trevor (Lindsay): Riley and Scarlet, and Raya; brothers Leo (Florence) and Oscar (Rose) Joanette; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Mike; parents Napoleon and Dorila; grandson Jamie; and her many siblings. The funeral service was held on Friday, May 3, 2013 from Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi officiating. Music Ministry was provided by Lisa Hornung as pianist and Jaki Esquirol as soloist. The Notre Dame Catholic Women's League provided an Honour Guard and CWL Rites. Interment took place beside her husband Mike at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations in Eva's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or Battlefords District Care Centre, PO Box 69, Battleford, SK S0M 0E0. The family placed their trust with Kristeen Thiessen of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford. To the caring and dedicated staff at Battleford's District Care, who helped her over the last seven years live a full life with dignity. Thanks to Rev. Father Gerard Legaspi for the service that celebrated her life. Special thanks to Jaki Esquirol, and Glen and Caren Hornick. The Notre Dame CWL for the honour guard, and the fabulous lunch.
