ROBINSON: In Loving Memory of Harold Robinson born on Jan. 26, 1927 in the Medstead District. Harold passed away on December 11, 2011 at River Heights Lodge, North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish his memory are his brother Merril (Marie) of Saskatoon, SK and sister Marjorie Shanley of North Battleford, SK and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Grace Robinson; sister, Elsie Kildaw; sister, Mae Jones; brother, Lester; brother-in-law, John Kildaw; sister-in-law, Evelyn Robinson. Harold attended Marron School, but he decided school was not really to his liking, so he left school to help with the farming. He loved nature, fishing, hunting and sports, anything that would take him outdoors.Having friends in for card games and visiting was great enjoyment for him. He enjoyed watching hockey, baseball and curling on TV. He loved reading the Readers Digest magazines, where many of his funny jokes came from. Memorial Service for Harold was held on Dec. 19, 2011 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, North Battleford with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiating. Music Ministry was Mrs. Bonnie Philips, Organist, playing Christmas music and accompanying Robert MacKay singing "Bringing In The Sheaves". A CD selection by Vince Gill "Go Rest High On That Mountain" was played. Shared Memories by family members was read by Joyce Salie. The family request that donations in Harold's memory be made to River Heights Lodge Auxiliary ~ 2001 - 99 St, North Battleford, SK S9A 0S3. Interment will take place at a later date in the Medstead Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battleofrds Funeral Service.
