REID: It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kathy (Kathleen) Barbara Reid, late of North Battleford, SK on December 15, 2011 at the age of 74. Kathy was born on March 15, 1937 in the Speers District. Left to cherish her memory are: her daughter Karen and granddaughter Ashley (Donald) Prescesky of North Battleford; son Jamie (Charlotte) Reid and grandsons Cole and Grayson Reid of Grande Prairie; brothers: David (Betty) Foster of North Battleford, Jim (Ruth) Foster of Speers, and Vincent (Diane) Foster of North Battleford; sister Liz Stefanuk of Saskatoon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Clifford and Madeline Foster; brother John Foster; sisters Cecile Nesseth and Mary Nesseth. The memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from the Chapel of Sallows & McDonald - Wilson & Zehner, North Battleford, SK with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiating. Shared Memories by Scott Foster. Honorary pallbearers were: "All her family and friends." The family have requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kathy's memory be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment of cremated remains to take place at a later date.
