RAMSAY; In Loving Memory of Gregory Carl Ramsay Born: June 3, 1963 - Cut Knife, SK. Passed Away: January 11, 2012 - Cut Knife, SK. Gregory Carl Ramsay of Cut Knife passed away on January 11, 2012 while watering his Hereford cows with his loving wife. Greg was born on June 3, 1963 the youngest child to Carl and Ruth Ramsay. With his three sisters and one brother he learned the ropes of working with cattle and operating equipment. He went to school in Cut Knife; afterwards he went on to Olds College where he obtained his diploma in Agriculture Mechanics. Greg met Cheryl at a wedding that both were invited to attend. They were married on June 29, 1985 in Cut Knife. They have three children a son, Vaughn and two daughters, Nicole and Crystal. They will remember him for his love, big bear hugs and his humour. Greg will be known for his kindness and love for his family, friends and neighbours. Greg we will miss you. We are blessed to have known you. "Till we meet again.." Celebration of Gregory's life was held on Monday January 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Cut Knife Community Hall in Cut Knife, Sask. Officiating was Rev. Grant Wasmuth with eulogists Betsy Brown and Anne Carlson. Readers were Sheri Brown Sutendra and Robin Ramsay Flicek and organist was Ned Ramsay. Hymns were We Have an Anchor, Angels Amongst Us, The River, Don't take the Girl, There are 3 Crosses on the Side of the Road. Honorary casket bearers were all those who shared in Greg's life and active casket bearers were Dean Brick, Colin Brown, Carl Lee Ramsay, Rick Bullerwell, Warren Morrice, Les Dahlen, Jim Bennet and Dave Cholin. Ushers were Blair Hampson and Scott Hampson and Memorial Book Attendants were Bonnie Ramsay, Tom and Sandra Wiley. Reception was held at the Cut Knife Community Centre and was served by the Cut Knife Royal Purple Ladies. Tributes can be directed to the Cut Knife Firefighters or the Cut Knife Community 4-H Club. Internment was held at the Cut Knife Cemetery at Cut Knife, Saskatchewan. Greg is survived by his wife Cheryl Mary Heuven Ramsay; his children Vaughn Carl; Nicole Ruth; Crystal Bonnie; Nigel Lambossiere (son by friendship); brothers and sisters Anne Marie (Murray) Carlson, Darwin (Elke), Caleb and Reiley, Ryan (Susan); Sophie and Aidan; Betsy (Robert) Brown, Colin, Sheri (Gopi) Sutendra, Naden, Tevan; Fred (Helene) Schultz, Carl, Tyler, Reginald; Cal (Marilyn) Ramsay, Carl (Dalynn), Cordell, Robin (Randy) Flicek, Ramsay, Rawley; uncles and aunts: Lyle (Mary) Ramsay; Les Ramsay; Bob Ramsay.
