Kathy is survived by her loving family: her husband of 43 years, Peter and their sons: Damian and Jason; her mother, Elizabeth Exner; sisters: Judy Exner, Regina, SK, Valerie (Roger Metail) and Rita (Don McCormick), Kenora, ON, Patricia (Nick Loffler), Sicamous, BC; her brothers: Vern (Cheryl) Exner, McLean, SK and Kevin (Karen) Exner, Regina, SK; Peter's siblings: Cas (Laverne) Pielak, Regina, SK, Antonia Coupal, Calgary, AB, Stan (Maureen) Pielak, Langley, BC and Chester Pielak, Burnaby, BC; numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her father, Rudolf Exner; sister, Sharon Exner; In-laws, Walter and Stella Pielak. Vigil of Prayer was held Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. with Jean Pawlus, Presider and Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Gerard Legaspi Celebrant; both Services from Notre Dame De Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK. The Cross Bearer was Sharon Sogz and Shared Memories by Vern Exner. Liturgy Of The Word: 1st Reading, Peter Pielak; 2nd Reading, Vern Exner; Gospel, Fr. Gerard Legaspi; Prayers Of The Faithful: Denise Schmidt & Adeline Scammell and Liturgy Of The Eucharist: Offertory Gift Bearers, Rita McCormick & Damian Pielak; Music Ministry, Lisa Hornung. The Honourary Pallbearers were Chester Pielak, Nick Loffler, David Coupal and "all others who shared Kathy's life". Pallbearers were Derick Exner, Mervin Sogz, Don McCormick, Warren Pielak, Kevin Exner and Casmer Pielak.
