PHELPS: A Mother's Tribute ~ Written by Carol Phelps She was born a long time ago with hair of sunshine and a heart full of dreams. Her little girl dream. While she grew she wondered what lay ahead. She met a man, got married. Life was hard. But with grace and dignity she carried on. She bore four children and watched them grow; made a decision and let one go. But with grace and dignity she carried on. She had four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved them all; But with grace and dignity she carried on. Her body is old and frail now; her little girl dream is barely a memory; But with grace and dignity she carries on. The girl with the dream is gone. She is in the arms of her loved ones that have gone before; But with grace and dignity she carries on. Muriel Anna Lillian Phelps passed away the morning of May 31, 2012 at the age of 80 years.
