Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Don Osman; her mother-in-law, Leona Cory; her children and grandchildren: Neil Striga: Keegan Svendsen, Keanna & Kyle; Della (Dwayne) Jones: Rylan, Harli-Ann & Codi-lynn; Denny (Lana) Striga: Kate; Sheena (Shannon) Metzger: Nigel & Ava; Kelvin (Becky) Osman: Dylan & Nash; sisters & nieces and nephews: Annette (Harvey) Letkeman: Jody, Wayne & Levi; Jean (Gilbert) Amendt: Ashley & Kelly; Denise Ross Schafer: Lacey Rose; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Linda (Larry) Liddell, Raymond Corbeil, Shirley (Gery) Barkhouse and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Linda was predeceased by her son, Clint Striga; Grandparents; Parents: Wilfred and Florence Ross; niece, Penny Letkeman; sister-in-law, Carol Corbeil and numerous aunts, uncles and relatives. Vigil of Prayer was held Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with Mrs. Betty Stone, Presider and Mass of Christian Burial was held Wed, Dec. 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Val Besas, Celebrant. Both Services from St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK. The Cross Bearer was Keegan Striga and Candle Bearers: Ashley & Kelly Amendt. Liturgy Of The Word was given by Carmel Coward, Sheena Metzger and Shelly Ross; Offertory Gift Bearers were Keanna Striga, Harli-ann Jones and Codi-lynn Jones and Eulogists were Agnes Holden and Sheila Bachelder. Gifts of Music: Organist, Mrs. Doreen Gilles; St. Joseph Faith Community Choir and Piper, Lynda Lyon-Walls. An Honour Guard was present with Catholic Family Services. The Honourary Pallbearers were Her Grandchildren: Keegan, Dylan, Keanna, Rylan, Harli-ann, Kyle, Nigel, Ava, Codi-lynn, Kate & Nash and all those who shared in her life. Active Pallbearers were Gilbert Amendt, Larry Liddell, Bryce Liddell, Kelvin Osman, Albert Ross, Ted King, Victor Ross and Bradley Striga. Memorials are requested to Catholic Family Services of the Battlefords Inc, 101 - 1272 - 101st, North Battleford, SK S9A 0Z8; Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, 10230 - 111 Ave, Edmonton, AB T5G 0B7 and to The Donor's Choice.
