NICKERSON,

NICKERSON, (née Bolin) 'Granny' Ruth Viola, April 13/37 - August 13/13. With sadness we say goodbye to our Mom, Sister and Friend. She was generous to a fault, never an ill word to say about others and a fantastic self taught piano player.

NICKERSON,

NICKERSON, (née Bolin) 'Granny' Ruth Viola, April 13/37 - August 13/13. With sadness we say goodbye to our Mom, Sister and Friend. She was generous to a fault, never an ill word to say about others and a fantastic self taught piano player. She lived her life modestly and always with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends in her thoughts and prayers. Ruth will always be remembered for her smiling eyes and love of music. She is survived by her children Barbara Zielke (Ken) of Kamloops, Cheryl Kowerchuk-Webster (Dave) and Brian Kowerchuk, her sister Elsie Knoll, her grandchildren Trisha Watkinson (Scott) of Kamloops, Jason Zielke (Angela), Madison Kowerchuk-Webster, Tiegan Kowerchuk-Webster and Adam Webster, and her great grandchildren Jaida Schiele and Avery Zielke, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was predeceased by parents Jack and Sarah Bolin, sisters Betty Bolin and Edna Smith, and brothers Olaf and John Nylander. A graveside service was held in North Battleford on September 2, 2013. Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the U of A ALS Clinic (Outpatient Residence, 8315 - 114 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7), the Lighthouse Supported Living Inc. (304 2nd Ave. S, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1L1) or LutherCare Foundation (1212 Osler St., Saskatoon, SK S7N 0T9). ____________________________________________________
