Shirley is survived by: her Husband: Ken ; Daughter: Colleen (Ron) Caldwell: Greg (Andrea) Caldwell - Keegan, Ashlyn; Gary (Jackie) Caldwell - Jayden, Alivia; Krista (Ryan) Nickell - Keller; Daughter: Sharon (Walter) de Strake: Damen (Jill) de Strake; Conner de Strake; Haylee de Strake; Son: Murray (Donna) Meena: Michele (Jason) Oborowsky - Sidney, Carter; Lisa (Riley) Perkins - Avery, Drew, Zenon; Kimberly (David) Bendall - Caden; Brittany Meena; Son: Lyle (Rhonda) Meena: Deiter Meena; Carly Meena. Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Shirley Florence Meena was held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Third Avenue United Church, North Battleford, SK with Rev. Frances Patterson, officiant. The Candle Lighting by Colleen Caldwell, Sharon Meena & Laurienne Meena. Shared Memories in Word ~ Brittany Meena and Shared Memories in Pictures ~ Ryan Nickell; Reading of Psalm 23 - Jackie Caldwell and Scripture Readers - Deiter Meena & Carly Meena. Music Ministry included Organist: Pianist: Jaya Hoy; Third Avenue Sanctuary Choir; Robert MacKay - "In The Garden"; CD Selection: "You Raise Me Up" - Josh Grobin; Processional Music: "Come In, Come In and Sit Down" and Hymn Selection: "The Old Rugged Cross". The Urn Bearers were Murray and Lyle Meena. Memorials are requested to STARS Air Rescue Service, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2H8; Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK. S9A 2H8 or Donors Choice. Interment will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service.
