McADAM, Lillian Alice August 5, 1914 - March 1, 2012 On March 1, 2012, Lillian McAdam (nee Sheasby), formerly of North Battleford, SK, passed away in Medicine Hat, AB at the age of 97 years. She was the last surviving child of Arthur and Alice Sheasby, (pioneers from England) who homesteaded north of Adanac, SK in 1906. Lil will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren: TERRY McAdam of Prince Albert, SK and family, Scott McAdam, and Todd (Christine Saufert) McAdam; MARILYN (Bob) Biberdorf of Medicine Hat, AB and family, Leanne (Grant) Stegen, Sherri (Steve) Wilkinghoff, and Craig (Karli) Biberdorf; KIM (Jennifer) McAdam of Stony Plain, AB and family, Jeff (Erin) McAdam, and Brad (Leandra Proulx) McAdam; nine great grandchildren (Carly, Kayla and Jenelle Stegen; Julia, Lauryn, Graeme and Carter Wilkinghoff; Layton McAdam and Cole Corrigal); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lil was predeceased by her husband Graeme; parents Arthur and Alice Sheasby; sisters Edith, Irene, and Kathleen; brothers Frederick and Bert; sister-in-law Freda Sheasby; and brothers-in-law Fred Box and Algy Thompson. Funeral service was held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 3:30 pm from the Chapel of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home. Interment followed at the City of North Battleford Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, donations in Lil's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
