MARTINSON: In Loving Memory of Mildred Louise Martinson who was born October 20, 1915 at Meota, SK and passed away June 2, 2013 at North Battleford, SK. Mildred is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Maxine & Roger Beardsworth; loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jeff (Kris) & Katie Beardsworth, Karen (Jason) & Jones Biever, Jacquie (Dave) Code, Samantha (Mylyn) Chamberlin & Tory, Stacey Hobman, Grant (Mercedes) & Shaylene Martinson; sister-in-law, Myrna Burgess; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Mary Louise Burgess; husband Reuben Martinson; son & daughter-in-law: Dave & Judy Martinson; grandson, Steven Beardsworth; brothers: Bert (Cora), Ernie (Liela) & Lester Burgess; sister-in-law, Myrtle (Earle) Corcoran. The Funeral Service was held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Meota United Church, Meota, SK. with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiant. The Eulogist was Darin Schaefer and Music Ministry was Gary Gansauge - Organist; Choir - Meota Lion's Chorus; Robert MacKay - Soloist ~ "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and Hymn Selections were "Breathe On Me, Breath of God" & "Amazing Grace". The Honourary Pallbearers were "All Mom's Friends" and Pallbearers were Jeff & Kris Beardsworth, Karen & Jason Biever, Jacquie & Dave Code,Grant & Mercedes Martinson. Memorials are requested to River Heights Lodge Auxiliary, 2001 - 99th St. North Battleford, SK. S9A 0S3. Private Family interment took place at Meota Cemetery, Meota, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. 446-4200. Card of Thanks The family of the late Mildred Martinson would like to thank the many friends for their support during our loss. We would like to express a special thank you to the Grandchildren and their spouses for serving as Pallbearers, to Bob MacKay for his compassion and guidance, to Joyce Salie for the beautiful service, to Darin Schaefer for his thoughtful eulogy, to Gary Gansauge and the Meota Lion's Chorus.
