MARCHEWKA: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Marchewka, late of Hafford and formerly of North Battleford, on December 12, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Ann was born on September 16, 1921 at Redberry District, SK. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her son Rudy (Ruth) Marchewka and their children Brad and Gail; sisters Helen Krelow and Lucy (Mike) Yaseniuk; sister in law Natalie Kachmarski; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Paul; parents Stanley and Tillie; brothers John, Mike, Joe, Peter, Bronie, and Steve. Prayers were held on Friday, December 16, 2011 from Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home with Jean Pawlus presiding. The funeral mass was held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church , North Battleford with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi as celebrant. The family have requested that donations in Ann's memory be made to the Hafford Special Care Centre (PO Box 130, Hafford, SK S0J 1A0). Interment took place at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
