MALLARD, HELEN 'SHIRLEY': Shirley loved family and was cherished by so many. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen "Shirley" Mallard on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roy and their son Allan (Tracy) and grandchildren, Kenzie, Ashley, and Michael. Their daughter Dawn (Mike) and grandchildren Leah and Jenna. Brothers Murray (Beatrice) and Don (Jean). Shirley was predeceased by her mother Ruby, father James, brothers Jack and Bruce McDonald. Shirley was an avid Riders' fan who loved golf, gardening, and being with family and friends. Her love of children led her to 17 years of service operating a daycare centre in North Battleford, SK where she loved and cared for hundreds of children. She was a dedicated caregiver to many family and friends. Shirley, a wife, mom, grandma and friend will truly be missed by many. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either the Children's Wish Foundation the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
