MALENFANT - Wyatt Lloyd Joseph Malenfant of Meota, Saskatchewan passed away on March 28, 2013 at his home in a tragic accident. Wyatt was only 16 years old but touched so many people and lived his life to the fullest in those 16 years. Wyatt was an outstanding student, always at the top of his class. He was also an incredible athlete and excelled in every sport. He played one year of Pee Wee AA hockey and went on to play Bantam AA hockey as a Pee Wee aged player and another 2 years of Bantam AA on top of that. He played Midget AA hockey as a first year Midget and was affiliated to the AAA team in North Battleford. He holds the record in Javelin both locally and in his region and placed 4th in the province at last year's track event. He was great at almost every event he competed in whether it was running, high jump, long jump or discus. Wyatt loved to camp, do all sorts of water sports and in the summer at the lake it was not uncommon for him to golf 3 rounds a day. Wyatt was loved by so many people and he will be terribly missed by all. Wyatt's Funeral was held on April 5 at the Edam Community Centre at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Deb McNabb officiating.
