LLOYD: Hazel Ruth Lloyd of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the age of 94 years. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Wayne (Joyce) Lloyd of Medicine Hat; two brothers, Fred (Elaine) Rensby of Battleford and Richard (Marcy) Rensby of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Verna (Jacques) Leask of Battleford and two sister-in-laws, Sue Rensby of Burns Lake, B.C. and Terry Rensby of North Battleford as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Clara and Oscar Rensby; two brothers, Ken and Elmer; three sisters, Ella (Michael) Koshman, Myrtle (Pete) Rockvam and Austa (Jack) Freebury. Hazel was born on February 4, 1918 in Whitewood, Saskatchewan and raised and educated in the Battleford district. She was employed by Sterling Distributors for over 30 years, retiring in 1983, at which time she moved to Medicine Hat. A memorial service will be held in the Zion Lutheran Church, North Battleford, on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sheldon Gattinger officiating.
