Sam is survived by his loving wife, Jessie (Chapman) Konopelski; his loving children and grandchildren: Steven Konopelski; Heather (Greg) Parsons - Allie, Brailie & Treyson; Daniel (Jenny) Konopelski - Andrew & Jakob; his brother, Henry (Mary) Konopelski; sisters: Mary Pelchat and Helen (Doug) Dixon; half-sister, Stella Kutcher; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Helen Konopelski and one sister, Ann. Visitation and Prayer Service was held Thursday, March 28, 2013 ~ 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at "The Garden Chapel" ~ Battlefords Funeral Service with Blaine Sandberg, Officiant & Pianist: Heather Parsons.The Funeral Service was held Friday, March 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Rabbit Lake Community Hall, Rabbit Lake, SK. with Larry Racicot, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, Officiant. The Program included Pianist - Susan Burgess; Welcome; Opening Hymn: "I Believe In Christ"; Opening Prayer: Greg Parsons; Talk: Ken Burgess; Music Number: Heather Parsons, Steven and Daniel Konopelski; Children's Tribute; Celebration of Life Video Presentation and Closing Prayer - Art Jones.Pallbearers/Honorary Pallbearers were Matt Prete, David Hawkins, David Konopelski, Art Jones, David Baker, Leonard Mercredi, Brad Baker, Dustin Ellis, Jim Rechenmacher "And Everyone Else Who Shared In Sam's Life". Interment followed at Co-operation Cemetery, Rabbit Lake District, SK. Lunch followed at Rabbit Lake Community Hall.
