KAHPEAYSEWAT:

KAHPEAYSEWAT: Jason A. Kahpeaysewat "Eagle Child" born July 20, 1972 North Battleford, SK passed away August 22, 2013 North Battleford, SK. Lovingly remembered from Mom & Dad, his wife Courtney, his children: Jake, Josiah, and all his adopted children; Brothers: Vincent (Verna), Hilliard; Sisters: Judy (Dwayne), Melaine, Jennifer (Paul), Denise (Les), Emily (Gary) and Charlotte (Daryll); numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Active pallbearers: August Wright, Noel Myo, Harry Ness, Donald Lewis, Brian Osecap Julian Kahpeaysewat, Jordan Kahpeaysewat and Wesley Carter. Interment: Moosomin Cemetery, Moosomin First Nation, SK. Remember him with a smile today. He was not for tears Reflect instead on memories Of all the happy years. Recall to mind the way he spoke And all the things he said His strength, his stance, The way he walked Remember these instead. The good advise he'd give us His eyes that shine with laughter So much of him that never dies But lives on, ever after. He was a man of honesty, Integrity and pride. Important, then, the way he lived Not the way he died. If a tear should fall today Perhaps it shall be shed For the many years without him here That still lie far ahead.
