Nellie was predeceased by her husband, James L. Johnston, Kirkland Lake, ON; her parents: Herb & Ernestina (Bohn) Johnston; brothers: Allan, Gordon, Wilfred, Harvey; sisters: Hazel Boyd and Grace Mackenzie; nieces and nephews. Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving was held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Sharon United Church, Maymont, SK with Rev. Jo-Ann Hills officiating. Music Ministry was by Organist, Mrs. Phyllis Johnston and Hymn Selections were "In The Garden" and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand". The Honourary Pallbearers were "All Who Shared In Nellie's Life". Memorials are requested to Sharon United Church Memorial Fund, Maymont SK S0M 1T0. Interment took place at Maymont Cemetery, Maymont, SK.
