HALEWICH: In Loving Memory Geraldine Marie Halewich who was born October 28, 1941 at Regina, SK and passed away March 18, 2012 at North Battleford, SK. Geri is lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Isadore Halewich, Battleford, SK; her sons and their families: Darrin (Pat) Halewich: Leah, Zoey & Janel, Lloydminster, AB; Dean (Shirley) Halewich: Kyle & Madison, Okotoks, AB; her brothers: Vern (Joy) Harrison, Drayton Valley, AB and Elton Harrison, Kamloops, B.C.; her sister, Linda (Harvey) Leonhardt, Victoria, B.C.; brother-in-law, Myron and his wife June Halewich (Gerri's best friend), Battleford, SK and nieces, nephews and their families. Gerri was predeceased by her parents, William and Stephanie Harrison; her brother, Don Harrison and her in-laws, William and Jean Halewich. Vigil Of Prayer was held Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. with Jean Pawlus, Presider; Liturgy Of The Word: 1st Reading ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-4: Janel Halewich; Psalm 23: Zoey Halewich; Gospel: John 14: 1-6: Jean Pawlus and Prayers Of The Faithful: Leah Halewich. Mass Of Christian Burial was held Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Gerard Legaspi Celebrant. Both Services were from Notre Dame De Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK. The Cross Bearer was Madison Halewich and Shared Memories were given by June Halewich. Liturgy Of The Word was shared by 1st Reading ~ Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11: Janel Halewich; Psalm sung by Jaki Esquirol; 2nd Reading ~ Ephesians 3: 13-21: Zoey Halewich; Gospel: Fr. Gerard Legaspi and Prayers of The Faithful: Leah Halewich. Eucharistic Celebration - Gifts Of Bread & Wine ~ Vern Harrison and Linda Leonhardt. Gifts of Music were Pianist / Director - Lisa Horning; Soloist - Jaki Esquirol and Notre Dame Parish Choir. An Honor Guard was present with Notre Dame Catholic Women's League and Pallbearers were Bill Halewich, Dale Halewich, Kyke Halewich, Brody Halewich, Kirby Halewich and Al Somers. If friends so desire, donations in Geri's memory can be made to Palliative Care Unit c/o Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8. Interment took place at Garden Of Christus - Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK.
