GROSJEAN - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Claude Grosjean, late of North Battleford, SK on October 28, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Leo is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita; daughters Gisele (Neil) McCarthy, Anita (Ray) Lozinsky, Nicole (Larry) Grosjean, Sonya (Randy) Hart, and son Kelly (Bonnie) Grosjean. He leaves his grandchildren Caitlin, Liam, Neil, Karalee, Jessie, Adam, Jeremy, Brendan, Dylan, Dustin, Elisa, and Codey, and great-grandchildren Reese, Sophie, and Linden. Leo was born in 1935 in Delmas, SK. He was predeceased by his parents Aurora and Clem, one sister Aline, and brother Arcade. He is survived by his sister Irene and brother Paul. His adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit led him to the NWT and also included hotel and truck ownership and operations with his son in the oilfield. He will be remembered for his endless hard work, his love of family, and his hobbies including antiques and gardening. He was happiest when he could be found in his garden and creating new ideas to include in it. Prayers were held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford, SK. A private family graveside service was held at the Town of Battleford Cemetery on Thursday, November 1, 2012 with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi officiating. The family have requested that memorial donations be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kristeen Thiessen of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford. 445-2418
