Albert lived in North Battleford for most of his life. He owned and managed Regal Plumbing and Heating and Polar Ice. He was an avid sportsman with fishing and hunting topping the list and enjoyed curling and baseball. He was a determined man, never letting his polio or post polio stop him from succeeding in all his endeavours. He was a community spirited person who, when he took on a project, would finish it to the fullest. Al was active with Battlefords Wildlife, Search and Rescue, Western Development Museum, Cancer Society, Hospital Foundation, Ag Society and Indian Health. In his retirement you could find him cooking beans, bacon, flipping hamburgers and pancakes or making funnel cakes for various organizations. Al's family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always helped and encouraged them and was proud of their accomplishments. He always had pockets full of candy and chocolate eggs for spoilage. We will all miss you, AL. Card of Thanks Dorothy and the family would like to thank Battlefords Funeral Service for their compassion and assistance, Bob MacKay for his beautiful singing, all of the honourary pallbearers, Battlefords Wildlife Federation for the delicious luncheon. Thanks to all who sent flowers and brought food to the house and the cards and phone calls. Friends are wonderful. Thanks again. ____________________________________________________
