DAVIES: Alwyn "Bubbles" Davies of Glaslyn, passed away August 18, 2012 at the Battleford's Union Hospital. Alwyn was born in Medstead on November 21, 1924; she was 87 years of age.

DAVIES: Alwyn "Bubbles" Davies of Glaslyn, passed away August 18, 2012 at the Battleford's Union Hospital. Alwyn was born in Medstead on November 21, 1924; she was 87 years of age. She is lovingly survived by her four sons; Ken (Pat), Glen (Georgia), David, and Michael (Melanie). Seven Grandchildren, Shannan (Dan), Darren (Christine), Brad (Tracie), Trevor (Casey), Adam (Heather) Mathew (Doris), Thomas (Ashly) and eight great grandchildren, Jamie, Jaryd, Kaden, Kurtis, Rebecca, Wade, Raleigh, Jayden. Alwyn also leaves to cherish her memory her sister Jean Kutz, and sisters in law Marj Orr, Dorothy Orr, Betty Bowron. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1998, her brothers Ken and David, sisters Mary and Olive. Funeral service was held for Alwyn on Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 ~ 2:00 pm from the Glaslyn Community Hall, officiated by Rev. Don Skinner, special music was performed by Casey Davies, and a touching eulogy was given by Betty Schneider. Alwyn was laid to rest beside her husband in the Medstead Lutheran Cemetery. Alwyn, known to many as "Bubbles" was a loving, thoughtful and kind lady; this has been confirmed by the thoughtfulness and kindness shown by many during this time. Memorial Donations in Alwyn's name may be made to The CNIB or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Email condolences to will be forwarded to the family. Delores Beaulac of Beau "Lac" Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. The family wish to thank Dr. Lipsett, the nurses and staff on 3rd, ICU and Emergency for all of their special care. Delores, Edward and staff of Beau "Lac" Funeral Home, Rev. Don Skinner, Casey Davies, Betty Schneider, the U.C.W. and the many friends and family for the many acts of thoughtfulness and kindness shown.
