Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her husband Vernon , Sons: Lyle (Linda), Stony Plain, AB and family: Laurie, Steven, Spruce Grove AB; Mark (Kim), Baljennie and family: Patrick(Dylane), Logan Lake, BC great grandchildren: Bradley, Tristen, Evelyn; Brandy, Peneticton, BC, Derek, Codi, Austin, Tori, Brooke; Cleve (Carol), Red Deer AB; Bruce , Benalto, AB and daughter Melissa Koch, Saskatoon; her daughter Sheila (Randy), Battleford, and family: Kelcey and Kent; sister: Shirley(Edgar) Booth; sisters-in-law: Eva Rayner, Agnes Besse; brothers-in-law: Glenn(Arlene), Bill(Esther), & George Blanchard. Predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Emma Besse; brothers: Raymond & Robert Besse, sister: Eileen Blanchard; her loving son, Bryan; her in-laws David and Linda Custer, Albert(Catherine), David(Stephanie), Clifford(Rojean), Morris Rayner. A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00pm at The Battlefords United Church with Rev. Nora Borgeson officiating. Music Ministry was Organist, Mrs M. Junice Headley. Hymn Selections - "Abide With Me, Jesus Loves Me & When the Roll is Called Up Yonder". Special Music Tribute by Dolly Parton "Eagle When She Flies" Eulogy was given by granddaughters Laurie & Brandy Custer. Special Memory by Brooke Custer. Video Presentation by Kelcey Redding. Tribute of pictures by Tori & Brooke Custer. Active Pallbearers were her grandsons Steven Custer, Patrick Custer, Derek Custer, Kent Redding, Austin Custer and Codi Custer. Interment took place at the Baljennie Cementry.
