CROOK - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Crook, late of North Battleford, on April 4, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Anne was born on October 22, 1920 at North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Left to cherish Anne's memory is her sister Catherine Jones; nieces and nephews: Joan (Doug) Harrison and children: Brett (Jolyne) and children: Cruz and Charley; Brock (Janet); and Brennan; Blair (Wendy) Hoffman and children: Staci (Scott) Hayes and children: Connor, Kiera and Janaea; Erika (Tom) Svanes and children: Cameron and Riley; Landon (Tanya) and son Rhett; Keith (Maxine) Hoffman and children: Kelly (Daryl); Cory (Jen) and son Ryden; Roddy (Andrea); and Brad; Alan (Dawn) Hoffman and children: Danelle (Matt) Park and children: Isaiah and Ainsley; Greg (Tayla); Gordon Jones and Dave (Rochelle) Jones, great niece: Sheena and family; special family: Corinne (Frank) Maloney and children: Mark (Loretta) and children: Connor and Katie; Darren (Lori) Maloney and children: Maguire and Finnley; as well as several Crook nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her parents: James and Catherine Crook; sisters: Elsie Nicholson, Dorothy "Dolly" Crook, Phyllis Crook and Jessie Hoffman; brother Harry Crook; niece Aldean Lloyd, and sister-in law Irene Crook; brothers-in-law: William Hoffman, Howard Nicholson and Trevor Jones; Special friend Joe Hale. A Private Family Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the City of North Battleford Cemetery with The Reverend Peter Norman officiating. A Memorial Tea was held at St. Paul's Anglican Church following the Graveside Service. Honorary pallbearers were: All who shared in Anne's life. Pallbearers were: Frank Maloney, Gordon Jones, Blair Hoffman, Keith Hoffman, Alan Hoffman, and Doug Harrison. The family have requested that memorial donations be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of the Donor's Choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kristeen Thiessen of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home, North Battleford. 445-2418 Card of Thanks: Thank you to Anne's family and friends for your kindness and meaningful connections over the years.
