CLINE: Margaret Cline (nee Banting) 1941 - 2012. Suddenly, surrounded by her family, Margaret passed away on Tuesday, September 18th, at the age of 71. She is survived by her Husband Wayne, her Daughters Nicole (Mike Stuart) and Jaime (Jamie Domanski), Grand-Daughters Faith and Myka Stuart, Grand-Dog Jake, Sisters Shirley (Bill), and Sandra, Brothers Duncan (Judi) and Albert, Sister In-Law Linda (Arnie), Brothers In-Law Terry (Nancy) and Richard (Heather) and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Margaret was pre-deceased by her Parents, Milt and Helena Banting, her Father In-Law and Mother In-Law Earl and Mary Cline, Sister Sheila Aupperle, Sister In-Law Beth Banting and Nephew Pearce Banting. Margaret grew in up in Highgate, Saskatchewan and loved working at the University of Saskatchewan. She met and married her Husband Wayne after being apprehended for speeding in the North Battleford District. Instead of paying the speeding ticket, she was persuaded into a date with this strapping young RCMP officer, and it was love at first sight. As Wayne's careers took them to North Battleford, Lloydminster, Turtleford, Saskatoon and Winnipeg. Margaret remained at his side. In 1975, they were blessed with a daughter Nicole, and then in 1977 they were blessed again with a daughter Jaime. Margaret and Wayne were married for 45 years. Some of Margaret's most cherished times were spent with her family. She LOVED spoiling her Grand-Kids, afternoons by the pool, her Grand-Dog Jake and Sunday night suppers. In addition to being a fantastic Mother and Grandmother, Margaret was also very focused on her career, starting at the University of Saskatchewan, and ending at the Assiniboia Downs Racetrack and Crosstown-Civic Credit Union. She had recently retired on June 27th, 2012. A celebration of Margaret's life has taken place on Monday September 24th and was officiated by Pastor Dustin Funk. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation (an organization close to Margaret's heart) at 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, WPG, MB, R3Y 1G4. ____________________________________________________
