CHRISTIANSON, AUDREY DECEMBER 13TH, 1924 - SEPTEMBER 21ST, 2013. With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Audrey on September 21st, 2013 at Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 88 years. Left to cherish Audreys memory: Her son, Terry (Christine) and family, Tara (Travis) Landphere, Brenna, Carson, Matthew, Levi and Cody, Greg (Melanie) and Cindy (Trevor) Walker; daughter, Cheryl Sutherland (Lorne) and family, Keane (Meagan); daughter, Judy Christianson (Ed) and family, Jason deBussac (Jen), Jade Dodd (Chris), Clara and Kaylee, Ebani Timmerman (Lindsay), Dylan, Lisa Jo deBussac; sister-in-law, Terry Smith; special friend Bill Miller; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Orvis (1979); parents, Elsie and J.C. Smith; brother, Jack; and grandson, Joseph. Mom was born in Rockingham, England on December 13th, 1924 and came to the farm in the Ibstone District, Â鶹´«Ã½AV of Battleford, in 1929 with her parents and brother, Jack. She married Orvis Joseph Christianson on June 11th, 1948 in Livelong, Saskatchewan and lived in North Battleford and Biggar. She has been a resident of Battlefords District Care Centre since April of this year. She worked out of the home for a time in the 1960's but her main passion in life was caring for her family. A private service for family was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. from Biggar United Church with Reverend Jayne Gallagher officiating. Interment took place in the Biggar Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Battlefords District Care Centre, Recreation Department, Box 69, Battleford, SK S0M 0E0 or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium, North Battleford, SK.
