BRAZEAU, OLIVE: Olive Brazeau known as "Fee" or GramaBrazeau was born on January 10, 1924 at Boggy Creek, Manitoba.In 1959 she married Frank Brazeau. She worked as a chamber maid in Regina until they moved back to Manitoba.In 1965 they bought a house at Harrowby, Manitoba. That year she took on the challenge of raising two children! Her nephew JoJo and niece Brenda. She also became the caregiver of her dad. A very busy homemaker.Olive was predeceased by her mom Beatrice (nee LaFrienre) and dad Leo (Phillion) Martin, her husband of 50 years Frank Brazeau, sisters: Noella Martin, Lillian Moore and her husband Walter Moore, Annette Bantrock and her husband Pete Bantrock, Irene Langan, brother Lloyd Martin, brother-in-law Bill Pelletier. She is survived by nephew Joe (Leona) Martin of Russell and their children, Tim Martin (Melissa), Mareen Martin, and their grandchildren, niece Brenda (Jack) Nabe of North Battleford, Sask. and their children John Nabe (Jen), Clinton and Rochelle Nabe, Tricia Nabe (Tyrone), Sheldon Nabe, and their grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: Lenard Martin (Bertha), Fred Martin (Judy), Edward Martin, Leo Martin (Rose) sisters: Alice Pelletier, Georgeline Paul (Fred), sister-in-law Annette Martin, brother-in-law George Langan, and Frank's daughter Flora Duffy and her children Harold, Angela, Cathy and her grandchildren.The funeral service was held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Russell with Fr. Norberto Monton officiating. Interment followed in the Russell Memorial Gardens. Prayers were said from the church Friday, March 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers were John Nabe, Clinton Nabe, Sheldon Nabe, Timothy Martin, Tyrone Cuthand, Jeremy Brazeau. The eulogist was her Goddaughter Vanessa Brazeau, readers were Doug Martin and Loretta Morrisseau. The music was lead by Connie Henry.We would like to thank all of those who sent flowers, cards and to everyone for the phone calls we received upon hearing of the passing of our mother.
