BILANSKI - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Jerry Bilanski, late of North Battleford, Saskatchewan on January 31, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Don was born on June 24, 1952 at Hafford, Saskatchewan. Don will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Holly (Mike) Kolenosky and their children Kyra and Noah; sisters Mervianna (Richard) Thompson and Jeanette Janostin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Mike and Mary Bilanski; brother Edward; brother-in-law Ben Janostin; sister-in-law Emily Bilanski. Prayers were held on Friday, February 3, 2012 from Sallows & McDonald - Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home. Divine Liturgy was held on Saturday, February 4 from All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Church, North Battleford with Reverend Father Vladimir Simunovic as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to a trust fund for Don's grandchildren Kyra and Noah, care of CIBC. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
