Anna Mary (Sister John Leonard) Beatch died peacefully at the age of 97 on February 2, 2015 at the Belvedere Care Centre, Coquitlam, BC after having celebrated 77 years of religious life. She is survived by her religious family, the Sisters of the Child Jesus, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, former students, and friends. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 828 Laval Square, Maillardville, BC where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Westminster.
