Doris is predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Caroline Ness; her husband, Verne Edward (Ted) Baker; step-grandchild, Jance Luthi; brother, Russell Ness and foster brothers, Harold and Terrance Flamond. Vigil Of Prayer was held Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and Mass Of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Phinh Do, Celebrant. Both Services were held at St. Rose De Lima Roman Catholic Church, Cochin, SK. The Cross Bearer was Donna Luthi; Eulogy was given by Denise Baker and Poem "Our Grandma's Love" was read by Britney Baker and Brandie Luthi. Liturgy Of The Word was shared by 1st Reading and Responsorial Psalm by Courtney Baker and 2nd Reading by Lawren Trotchie. Prayers Of The Faithful was given by Clayton (Ben) Ness & Bernadine Ness. "The family would like to express sincere thanks to Clayton for his loving care and support given to his Aunt Doris". Celebration Of The Eucharaist ~ Offertory Gift Bearers were Rylan & Hunter Luthi. The Honourary Pallbearers were "Everyone who shared in Mom's life" and Active Pallbearers were Alvin Baker, Lawrence Baker, Ronald Baker, Rupert Baker, Greg Baker and Victor Baker. Memorials are requested to St. Rose De Lima Catholic Women's League. Interment took place at Cochin Cemetery, Cochin, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service.
