Kenneth Biernes Asmussen passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Sask. Ken is survived by his wife Ione and their  son Pat (Susan). Ken will be remembered as a loving husband and father – past chairman of the North Battleford Comprehensive High School Board Of Trustees and a long-time businessman with Asmussens Jewellers. He was a long-serving member of the North Battleford Kinsmen Club. In his leisure he loved to golf and his love for gardening was evident throughout the immaculate grounds of their home. With respect to Ken’s request, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. Flowers are gratefully declined.
