A very special thank you to all the grandchildren for being pallbearers and to Les and Lee for sharing memories of grandma. Thanks to Dr. Morton for your years of caring for mom. We especially wish to thank the very caring staff at Battlefords District Care Centre Ward 1 for the care you gave Mom over the past 2 years, and the compassion you showed her these past few weeks. Heartfelt thanks to all those who phoned, brought food, sent cards, flowers & donations, shared stories with us, expressed words of comfort, attended her funeral service. Knowing that Merle touched so many lives has made it easier through this difficult time.
