NORTH BATTLEFORD - The North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings are headed to postseason play in Saskatoon.
The Vikings play the Aden Bowman Bears that night at Saskatoon Minor Football Field. It is the first game of 5A senior playoffs, with the winner advancing to face either Bishop James Mahoney or Marion Graham who also play Friday.
NBCHS ended the regular season on a down note, with a 35-12 defeat last week in Prince Albert against the St. Mary Marauders. Despite the lopsided result, the Vikings still finish the season with a winning record at 3-2 in Senior 5A, while Aden Bowman comes into the playoff game with a 2-3 record.
Game time is at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
