In the first draw of the SaskPower Scotties Tournament of Hearts Women's Provincial Curling Championships, the Sivernagle rink (in purple) of Meadow Lake took on the Gillies rink (in white) out of Kerrobert. The third of the Gillies rink is Linda Kloschinsky, the daughter of John and Josie Krueger of Humboldt. After four ends, the Gillies rink had taken a 2-1 lead. The only other match taking place that afternoon was between the Rachel Fritzler rink of Saskatoon, and the Lang ring from Regina. For more results, check the Humboldt Journal website on January 26.
