Beavers suffer second loss

In Meadow Lake the White Sox improved to 6-1 with a convincing 13-4 win over the North Battleford Beavers. The loss is the Beavers second in a row as they fall seventh place with a 5-2 record.

The game played Tuesday had the Unity Midgets double their win total with a 9-2 win over St. Walburg in Unity. The Midgets move to 2-6 on the season. The Reds are one of two teams still searching for their first win, as they sit at 0-8.

The Unity Cardinals at Wilkie and Edam at Lloydminster Midgets games were rained out and will be rescheduled.
