Wrapping up haying and traveling before harvest

The warm weather has made it possible for farmers to see a successful end to haying and silaging. The weather has also contributed to the ripening of crops and by the looks of things harvest will be in full swing soon.

Josh and Gabriel Blyth attended hockey school in Lloydminster during the past week. They were enthusiastic about the event.

Craig and Deiedre Blyth and family accompanied Deiedre's parents, Dave and Judy Bedwell, on a week camping holiday, which took them to Jasper, Alta. and area.

Linda and Bill McGilvery accompanied by Pat and Wally Polinsky travelled to Prince Geroge, B.C. They spent two weeks visiting with friends, Bernie and Fern Gould, visiting Barkerville, B.C. and various sites.

During the past weekend, Linda and Bill attended the John Arcand Fiddle Fest in Saskatoon.

Maureen Bexson and Christine Pike had an interesting weekend Aug. 19 to 21. They travelled to Raymore where they visited with their niece, Sheila Lamont, who farms just out of Raymore. They also visited with friends at Theodore and the Melchior family just south of the Battleford.
