SASKATOON - Charges have been laid in an investigation into an assault at a Saskatoon faith-based institution.
In June, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) began an investigation into a report of an assault at a faith-based institution. The victim and accused were known to one another through their affiliation with the institution.
As a result of an investigation by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Interpersonal Violence Section, a 44-year-old Saskatoon woman has been charged with assault with a weapon. She turned herself in to the SPS on Sep. 16.
