SASKATOON - A man was arrested Monday afternoon in relation to an assault in Saskatoon.
At approximately 3:50 p.m. on Sept. 23, police received a report of a weapons complaint in the 1300 block of Avenue B North. Initial information stated someone had a machete.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the female victim who had what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Officers then entered the home and were able to locate and arrest the male suspect.
The victim and suspect are believed to be known to one another.
As a result, a 19-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault.
