SASKATOON - Two people are facing charges following an assault in Saskatoon.
A youth from Â鶹´«Ã½AVend has been arrested, and a warrant has been requested for another individual following the assault.
On Sept. 8 at approximately 11:20 p.m. police were called to the 100 block of Cardinal Crescent for a report of an injured person. Initial information stated a male had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers located a male, suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing, sitting in the lobby of the building. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious injuries.
Upon further investigation, other officers were able to locate and arrest a 17-year-old male youth. A warrant has been requested for the arrest of an 18-year-old man.
As a result, the 17-year-old male suspect is facing charges relating to assault, possession of a weapon, and breaching court-ordered conditions. The 18-year-old man faces charges relating to aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and breaching court-ordered conditions.
