Charges have been laid against several individuals following a search and seizure conducted in North Battleford last week.
Charged were Tania Lee Young, 41, Sandra Golschesky, 44, as well as a 15-year-old youth who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
According to Battlefords RCMP a raid took place at a residence Sept. 29. A search warrant was executed on a residence in the 1400 block of 108th Street, where 10 pounds of marijuana and a large amount of cash were recovered.
A second search was conducted on Sept. 30 by RCMP officers from the North Battleford Detachment, General Investigation Section and Meadow Lake Police Dog Service.
Both Golschesky and Young are charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of a crime. The youth is charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
Both Young and Golschesky are to appear in North Battleford provincial court on this matter November 14.
