Thursday collisions

Thursday was a busy day for the North Battleford Fire and Emergency, as they responded to two motor vehicle accidents. The first was just after 7:30 a.m. when they were called to the junction of highway 40 and 16 East.

The first was just after 7:30 a.m. when they were called to the junction of highway 40 and 16 East. Fortunately there were no injuries, but both vehicles involved were towed from the scene and were partially blocking eastbound traffic.

Ten hours and 20 minutes later, NBFES were called to the intersection of 110th street and Eighth Avenue for another two-vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, NBFES discovered one vehicle on its roof and after stabilizing the vehicle the drive was removed from the vehicle. The driver was to only person taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

NBFES, WPD ambulance and the RCMP were on scene for 50 minutes.
